To manage the network multiple services of CHESF, you need help of methodologies and integrated and advanced decision-making tools. Project WOC (Optimized WAN to CHESF) has the goal of propose and develope a methodology and tools to aid the WAN manager to design, monitor, optimize and expand the resources of the CHESF WAN.
The approach makes use of different specialized modules, such as topology, traffic and availability. Some of these modules can be implemented using public domain tools, while some others need to be developed. The network manager, following the methodology of resources optimization and QoS maximization, may act in the political configuration, routing, prioritization of flows, among others, producing the desired result.
