Human–Computer Interaction

Human-computer interaction has been studied since the use of computational systems. Interaction means an action performed mutually between two or more things or two or more people. To enhance interactivity of systems there have been defined several methods and techniques, including interaction devices to be used by the user to perform interaction with the system. Beyond, evaluation methodologies have been specified in order to verify the adequacy of such methods and techniques to the application domain and devices used.

The area of interaction is one of GRVM’s research areas that evolve faster, working on different aspects such as interaction devices abstraction, interaction in three-dimensional interfaces and augmented reality interfaces, and usability in the context of non-conventional interaction.

Some ongoing projects are:

  • CIDA
  • Interact-AR
